Keep more of your commission. Build equity through stock ownership. Create revenue share that can continue beyond your own transactions. And with powerful technology, training, marketing, and a collaborative agent community behind you, you don't have to build your business alone.

The income plan · 8 ways to earn

Every path stacks on top of the last

01

Commission split & cap

85/15 split*

Keep 85% of every commission from day one — no franchise royalty stacked on top. Once you hit your annual cap, you keep 100% for the rest of your cycle, with $0 monthly fee along the way.

Agent type Annual cap
Independent agent or Team Lead $12,000
Standard team member $6,000
Platinum team member $4,000
02

Revenue share

5-tier network*

Sponsor agents into Real and earn a share of what they pay the brokerage — across up to five tiers deep, paying more in the earlier tiers than most brokerages.

Tier Share Max / capping agent / yr
Tier 1 5% $4,000
Tier 2 4% $3,200
Tier 3 3% $2,400
Tier 4 2% $1,600
Tier 5 1% $800

03

Capping stock award

Up to 15 shares*

The moment you hit your cap, Real automatically awards you stock — no extra paperwork or separate application required.

Agent type Shares Cap

$6K team member 7 $6K
$4K team member 5 $4K
04

Attraction award

Up to 7 shares*

Personally attract a producing agent and you're awarded stock when their first qualified deal closes.

Agent type Shares Cap
Individual agent, Team Lead, or $12K team member 7 $12K
$6K team member 3 $6K
$4K team member 2 $4K
05

Stock purchase plan

5%→10% · 10%→15%*

Before you cap, direct 5% of each commission into REAX stock and Real adds a 10% bonus in shares on top — at no extra cost to you. After you cap, your contribution rate increases to 10% of commission, and the bonus steps up to 15% in additional shares, so equity builds faster in the second half of your year.

06

Elite Agent Award

$12,000 RSUs*

Top producers unlock up to $12,000 in additional RSUs for hitting elite production thresholds, plus a reduced $129 post-cap transaction fee for the rest of the year.

07

Elite Agent Cultural Award

$8,000 RSUs*

A separate $8,000 in RSUs for agents who give back to the Real community — teaching classes, mentoring, or staying active — layered on top of production-based Elite Agent stock.

08

Build your own team

Your terms

Recruit and build your own team through ProTeams, and set each team member's split, cap, and fees your way — while every revenue share, stock, and cap tier above still applies to you personally. More producers under your umbrella means more capping agents in your own Tier 1, which means more revenue share flowing back to you — your team's growth directly compounds your own.

01

Culture

Real's business model runs on collaboration, not competition — agents are financially motivated to help each other grow, not guard their turf. That single design choice shapes almost everything else about the day-to-day experience: how quickly a new agent gets help from a veteran, how openly people share what's working in their market, and how connected you feel even without a physical office to walk into.

Incentives aligned

Collaboration is the business model

Because sponsors earn revenue share on the agents they bring in, a top producer helping you close your first deal isn't just being nice — it's directly in their financial interest. That flips the usual brokerage dynamic: instead of competing with the agent down the hall for the same leads, the agents around you are structurally rewarded for your success, which shows up as real, unprompted help in Workvivo groups, masterminds, and one-on-one mentoring.

25–30 weekly masterminds*

One Culture. One Network. One Real.

There's no office to walk into at a cloud brokerage, and for a lot of agents that's the first worry about making the move. In practice, Workvivo (Real's private community platform) plus 25–30 live masterminds running every week mean you can drop into a room of other agents — same market, same niche, or just a general Q&A — pretty much any day. State Groups keep you close to your local broker and market conversations, while Referral Central connects you with agents in other markets for outside-area business.

Splits

The foundation: how you and your team actually get paid, structured to scale from solo agent to independent brokerage. This is the part most agents research first, and it's also the part that's easiest to misjudge if you're only comparing headline split percentages — the cap, the team structure, and what happens to your brand all matter just as much as the 85/15 number.

85/15 · $12K cap*

Commission Plan (Agent)

You keep 85% of every commission from your very first deal — no waiting period, no tiered ramp-up. Once your 15% contributions to Real add up to $12,000 in a year (as an independent agent or team lead), you stop paying the split entirely and keep 100% of your commission for the rest of that anniversary year. For a productive agent, that cap is often reached well before year-end — meaning a real stretch of months where every commission check is untouched.

Keep your brand

Private Label

This one's specifically for agents who've already built a name for themselves — an established independent brokerage or a well-known team brand. Private Label lets you keep your own name, logo, and client-facing identity exactly as-is, while compliance, compensation, and revenue share all run through Real behind the scenes. Your clients never see “Real” on a yard sign; you see it in your back-office numbers.

03

Bonuses

Every commission check is also a chance to build equity — before you cap, after you cap, and at every production milestone above that. None of this requires you to do anything differently in your day-to-day business; the same production that pays your bills is quietly building a stock position and RSU awards in the background, on top of the check itself.

150 + 75 RSUs*

Stock Awards

Hit your annual cap and Real automatically awards 150 RSUs — no application, no extra paperwork, it just happens the moment your split contributions reach your cap. Personally attract a producing agent and earn 75 more RSUs when their first qualified deal closes, rewarding you for growing the agent side of the business on top of whatever revenue share that same recruit generates long-term.

$12,000 RSUs*

Elite Agent Awards

The production threshold isn't within reach for most agents every year, but for agents doing $500K+ in GCI or otherwise hitting Elite status, it's an extra $12,000 in RSUs on top of everything else — plus a reduced $129 post-cap transaction fee that keeps compounding for the rest of that year.

04

Legacy

The programs that turn a good year into income that keeps paying — for you, your family, or both. This is the pillar most agents underweight when comparing brokerages, because none of it shows up on a first-year commission statement — its value only becomes obvious five, ten, or twenty years in.

5 tiers*

Revenue Shares

Every agent you personally sponsor into Real pays a 15% split until they cap — and a slice of that split, up to $4,000 a year per capped Tier 1 agent, flows back to you. It compounds down five tiers: the agents your Tier 1 recruits bring in become your Tier 2, and so on, meaning a single well-connected recruit from years ago can still be generating income today through people they brought in that you've never even met.

5-yr milestone*

Real Retirement

Most brokerages' relationships with you end the day you stop producing. Real Retirement is the opposite: after five consecutive years as a producing agent, your revenue share keeps paying out even after you've fully stopped selling — as long as your license stays active. For an agent who built a large network over a career, that's an income stream that outlives their production.

Pass it on*

Willable Revenue Share

Once you're eligible, you can name a beneficiary for your revenue share, meaning the income you built by sponsoring other agents doesn't just stop when you pass away — it can continue to a spouse, child, or anyone else you designate. Not many brokerages offer anything an agent can actually leave behind.

Support

A cloud brokerage doesn't mean you're on your own — training, brokers, and marketing are all built into the platform. The tradeoff agents worry about most when leaving a traditional office is losing that built-in support system; Real's answer is to make each piece of it available on-demand instead of tied to a physical location.

100s of classes*

Real Academy

Whether you're brand new and need the fundamentals or a decade in and want to break into luxury, relocation, or new-construction sales, there's a course for it — hundreds of them, on-demand. The daily masterminds add a live component: you can ask a specific question about a specific deal and get an answer from someone actively doing that kind of business right now.

Always available

Broker Support

Every state Real operates in has a licensed broker assigned and available — for compliance questions, contract reviews, or just a second opinion before you submit something. You don't need a desk or a scheduled office visit to reach them; it's built to be as fast as messaging a coworker.

Tech

Built in-house, not bolted on — the transaction platform, the AI, and the banking all live in one place. That matters more than it sounds: tools stitched together from different vendors tend to break at the handoffs — a transaction system that doesn't talk to your banking, a CRM that doesn't know your commission structure. Real built these to work as one system from the start.

Mobile-first

reZEN

The operating system for your whole business at Real — start a listing, manage every checklist item and document, track a transaction through closing, and see your commission calculations, all from your phone. It's the same platform LEO, Real Signature, and Real Wallet are all built into, so nothing lives in a separate app you have to context-switch to.

24/7 AI concierge

LEO AI Assistant

Ask Leo a question about a specific transaction, your revenue share numbers, or how a commission calculation worked out, and it answers using your actual data — not a generic FAQ. It's available at 2am the night before closing just as much as during business hours, which matters more than it sounds when you're trying to double-check something before a deadline.

Faster payouts*

Real Wallet

A business checking account and debit card built specifically for how real estate income actually arrives — in large, irregular deposits rather than a steady paycheck — with faster access to your commission after closing than routing it through a traditional bank account first.

Community

Everything around the transaction — financing, closing, community, and a safety net when life happens. A real estate deal touches a lot more than just the sale; having the mortgage, title, and escrow pieces inside the same ecosystem as your transaction management means fewer handoffs and fewer places for a deal to get delayed.
